Can You Inspire Me Into Action?

If you can truly inspire me, what would that really mean? There is a constant need in this world for uplifting those around us and often being lifted up ourselves. Is inspiration the way to go? Can your ability to inspire me take me to a new level of self confidence, determination, and even appreciation? It’s interesting to witness the various inspirational devotions, religious and otherwise, that keep people motivated and working toward something better.
Political action is an interesting event. Leaders of the world have always tried to be inspirational, whether they used that influence to create positive changes or destruction. Strong leaders working for peace can inspire me to think about my neighbor more while leaders that use their influence to destroy others inspire me to lobby for peace.
Since inspiration is truly a great motivator, it is really needed much more than we offer it. Whether we are in politics, a position of power, or are more inclined to spend a great deal of time alone. We all have the power to be an inspiration for someone. You can inspire me, and then I can turn around and be the spark for someone else. It’s all relative and it’s all necessary.
When we are motivated to make changes, whether in ourselves or worldwide, we are able to do great things. As a human race we tend not to participate in much if we are not motivated to do something.
When we are inspired to work so that we can pay the bills and meet our general obligations, we show up on time and do our jobs. When we are truly motivated to make it to the top and land a position that we find more fulfilling or greater than our current position, we approach our employment with much greater vigor, as we are inspired to do more.
The more inspired we are the more motivated we are. This applies to all aspects of life, including world leadership and personal day to day motivation. We do not take a strong or committed action unless we are impressed upon in one form or another. We all carry the ability to influence and create grand inspirations in those around us if we choose, and we all have the ability to decide whether we want to motivate positive or negative changes.
So then why don’t we? If being inspired, motivated, and believing in something is the greatest factor in changing the world, why is there still violence? Why are people still starving? Why are we all still sitting firmly on opposite sides of the political fence? Why is there still so much that we claim is wrong with the world and yet we seem to do little to nothing about it? Are we all really just that underwhelmed and uninspired?
You may very well inspire me to make personal changes, political changes, or employment changes. My motivation is not likely to be the same as the motivation of others. It is easy to talk and plan in order to drive our level of inspired acts, but often the inability to agree prevents action. We tend to want group approval or we want to know that we are not going too far against the grain. The whole world can’t come together and agree, so we divide into groups that work on their individual passions. Moving inspiration into action requires a desire to be personally accountable.
