I want you to feel good about yourself, so please, think for one minute on the reason for your diet. Is it because you want to look better? Do you want to feel Better? Is it because you want to meet someone, or go somewhere? Maybe you just want a different life style, or maybe your doctor has told you that you have to lose weight. You diet for your own reasons, but you need to stick to it. Everyday. Your lifestyle has to be the person you want to be, not who you’ve stuck yourself with. Lifestyle is when thin people invite you for dinner and there won’t be an extra turkey because “We cook extra because we like leftovers.” Lifestyle is active and fun. Be that!
As I see it lifestyle is an all-together thing. The Thanksgiving dinner? Friends, family, and Thanksgiving. That’s what Thankgiving is for, not for an eating frenzy. Your family andd friends gather to celebrate life, and that’s what is important, not how much you can eat in one sitting. My friend that lost 140 pounds didn’t just skip a meal now and then. She changed her life. To her, it doesn’t matter about a diet. She eats right, exercises a little, and is a thin person. She no longer binges on food. She takes the holidays for social gatherings and warmth and camaraderie, not as an opportunity to eat until she can’t stand up, or drink until she can’t walk.
